My dad was going to pre-order the Limited Edition for my birthday but it was sold out. So now me and him are looking to buy it when it's on the shelf. I have played the Beta though and yes, it is awesome. I can't wait to get the final version. Mine is also for the Xbox One.

ahh, I got mine though live yesterday. It came with the whole "buy it for 360, and get free copy for xbone if you get it before Jan 15" So I will probably get that later this year.

I saw that yesterday and my only reservation from doing that was the fact that I can't get all the awesomeness that comes with the limited edition. That, and there is no disc.

Glad I'm not the only one. Can't play forza 5 since everyone plays 4 still. I'm not looking forward to putting six people together to play the raids on destiny since real life responsibilities have kept my friends list small. Kind wish I'd waited to get the new console sometimes since everyone is still playing on 360.

I used to be that guy, but keeping my PC up to date is just so dang expensive. Now I mostly play goat simulator on the PC an pretty much everything else on the 360.

See, I build my PC once every 8-ish years and don't really do much to it in between. Sure, I might buy a sound card or hard drive, but neither of those is ever a necessity and is added purely because I can. I built my last PC in 2004 and it worked just fine for games until about 2011, when games started taking advantage of multi-core CPUs. The secret is remembering that game consoles are stuck at lower resolutions for everything and that PCs can get easily match them in performance if you adjust accordingly.
This is possible only if you buy at or near the top of the shelf, though. It costs more up-front than a games console, but you save money through cheaper games, no necessary subscription service, and no need for peripherals/batteries.

trust me, I know all that. Its only the last 8 months or so that I've really switched to gaming on console mostly. It's that new parts lust that gets me. Those video cards kill me with their prices. Everything else you can get pretty reasonably. Hence why I'm still running a 9800gt. Also car parts.
